This year’s STARTUP x INNOVATION THAILAND EXPO 2022 (SITE 2022) is themed “Reconnecting the World”, embracing the new change that shapes the world and how we work together, as well in the metaverse. After few turbulent years of COVID-19, Thailand is forging ahead, opening our borders as the pandemic eases, and connecting with the rest of the world once again.

We would like to reintroduce our Innovation City, with unique characteristics and strengths that foster innovation, and as partnering with innovative cities around the world, let’s revive the world economy and improve quality of life for all. This year’s SITE event will be held both online and offline at the National Innovation Agency, taking place from 23-25 June with four main activities: Forum, Opportunity, Show and Award.

• Metaverse Experience: Thailand’s first metaverse event brings together a variety of activities with each participant can be represented by a personalized avatar.
• Avatar Real-Time Connection: A new way of interacting with Thailand’s startup and innovation communities, as well as networks and speakers around the world in real time.
• Real Opportunity: Matching entrepreneurs, investors, and business partners through the Metaverse Marketplace, as well as budding startups and experienced consultants.

Startup Thailand 2019, an event under the concept “Startup Nation” clearly demonstrated the strength of Thailand’s startup ecosystem. The continuous government support for the startup communities will make Thailand the Global Startup Hub of Southeast Asia in the near future.

The event was hosted for 5 days at 9 different venues with support from the public and private sectors along with international collaboration from 40 countries to promote Bangkok Innovation corridor.
